The boy who once filled...
His crib is now empty.
His car seat is now empty.
His swing is now empty.
His bathtub is now empty.
His mother and father’s arms are now empty.
His physical presence in our
home leaves it feeling empty.
His sweet smile now gone
leaves my heart feeling a bit empty.
Until we meet again,
my heart has a whole that will be left empty.
